Ted’s All Day Brunch

benjamin Travels the world

Ted’s opened its doors in 2015, becoming the first restaurant in Amsterdam that serves brunch all day, every day. The menu features an extensive array of absolutely amazing dishes and drinks, ones that we hold dear even in the depths of night. These soulful culinary delights may not be classified as low-fat, but they are made in-house and served with lots of care and attention.

Ted’s also serves a traditional afternoon high tea, complete with loads of delicious treats, menu favorites, and, of course, a pot of tea.

Check out their brunch vibes playlist to carry on the great atmosphere! @Pasquinel_dj @Mitchellyard.

Windmill Tour and Cheese + Clogs

Enjoy an excursion with both beautiful sites and fun cheese samples. This three hour long tour gave us the opportunity to soak up all the area had to offer, including a live clog making demonstration, a look into all the old windmills, and a cheese making demonstration which ended with cheese sampling of all different kinds! Along the way we even got to stop in all of the five different gift shops they had, each full of fun tulip and clog souvenirs.

Not only was this a great hostel to stay at with it being in the middle of the city, but it was even better when we realized there was a bar directly attached. Belushi’s Bar had a great atmosphere with a nice outside patio and great food deals, especially for travelers that are staying in the hostel). Both nights there was a live DJ and a lot of dancing!

Crepes & Waffles

This dessert place was so good we ended up going three times over the course of the two days we were there. Not only do they serve delicious crepes both sweet and savory they also have many unique ice cream flavors and fresh stroopwafels and waffles.

While there we learned that when they first opened up, Crepes & Waffles was the only shop that had these treats made-to-order, unlike now with a crepe stores being everywhere throughout the city. One thing that makes this shop even better than it already is the fact that they are open until 3am on the weekend and have no judgement when you go in that late asking for a breakfast crepe.
