A Laid Back Lunch at Metropolitan

On a recent rainy day in the city we sought haven in Metropolitan bar and restaurant and were not disappointed. We were met with friendly employees and a chalk board with written food suggestions. The environment was cozy and modern, perfect for the stormy day. 

When we asked the waiter what cocktail he would recommend, he chose the passionfruit margarita. The margarita was light and fresh; we would definitely try their other flavors in the future.

For the meal, we ordered a chicken burger that came with fries and dipping sauces of ketchup and mayo. We aren’t kidding when we say the chicken burger had the softest, tastiest bun we have EVER tried. Inside the bun was the juiciest chicken breast topped with fresh lettuce and tomato. The fries were perfectly crispy and we were sure to not leave a single one behind. 

If you are looking for a chill lunch spot with fresh drinks and classic yet delicious eats, Metropolitan will be sure to satisfy. Metropolitan is open daily from 10am to 10pm serving tapas from 3pm – 10pm. You can also order breakfast food on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am – 3pm.
