Need a break from the daily craziness this Fall? Go to the Mondorf Spa. The soothing thermal baths are rich with minerals that revitalize your tired skin. You can also enjoy the first class sports center stacked with all the gym equipment you could need for a good workout. Heal any aches and pains at the sauna and massage center afterward. Top it off with a leisurely walk around the gardens and see the gorgeous oranges and reds of Luxembourg’s fall foliage.

Did you know that a lot of wineries deliver directly to your home? Grab your closest friends and dedicate a night to discovering Luxembourgish wine right from your kitchen! Barbecuing isn’t just for summertime! Check with your local commune park and get a fire-pit to grill up some delicious fall food. Gather around the campfire with warm blankets and share some quality time in the fresh fall air with loved ones.

Luxembourg has more than 50 castles and charming villages just waiting for you to explore! Set up a family castle hunt and try to see as many as you can on a crisp fall day. Pumpkin Patch

American-style pumpkin patches are great for family bonding and photos! Take a family road trip to Bauernhof Guhl (around 2 hours from Luxembourg City) and bask in fun Fall activities. The farm opens on September 30th till 29th October, and the Sunshine Pumpkin Patch is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am – 5 pm starting in October. After you’ve picked the best pumpkins in the patch, you and your family can have a pumpkin carving contest!

Head to Rotondes, an amazing cultural center that often hosts visual arts performances, concerts, and workshops for people of all ages. Check out their activity calendar here and see if any peak your interest.

Museum Smile

Concentrated within one mile, there are 7 museums (coined Museum Smile) for you to explore in the heart of Luxembourg. From the National History museum to the Modern Art gallery, each museum brings a diverse component that attracts every type of person. Make a weekend out of it and educate yourself by hitting all (or most) of these museums this Fall!
