Apple Festival (Les vergers de Steinsel)
This annual festival is filled with great food, think sausages, delicious apple products, freshly made apple juice, cider and more. Remember to bring some bags to fill with apples from the orchard.
When: October 1-2 from 10am- 6pm

For more than a week, atlântico presents multiple events featuring music from the Lusophone world, whose citizens make up a considerable part of Luxembourg’s population. In addition to António Zambujo, who opens the festival, the diversity of the Portuguese scene will be represented by jazz saxophonist Rodrigo Amado, fado singer Aldina and the piano and electronics duo of Joana Gama and Luís Fernandes. Closing the festival will be Cape Verdean singer Mario Lucio while singer and cellist Dom La Nena will add a delicate Brazilian touch. The youngest visitors can also attend workshops and a performance by the artist Victor Gama who will produce a large exhibition of homemade instruments.

Night of the Museums
This year marks the 21st edition the Night of the Museums! There will be a special programme filled with performances, music, workshops, special guided tours, and culinary surprises in the seven participating museums in Luxembourg-City. The Museum Night will finish with an afterparty at Mudam Luxembourg until 3am. In order to facilitate the nightly tour, free shuttles are available.

Trauliicht is a Luxembourgish version of “Halloween”, involving beets instead of pumpkins. A great cultural experience awaits with lantern carving, processions, songs and stories!

This annual nut market takes place on the second Sunday in October every year. Live bands and DJs will perform to create the perfect ambiance while you shop around and enjoy a variety of regional nut specialties including cakes, cheeses, liqueurs and more!

Hunnefeier is an annual wine festival in Schengen to celebrate the end of the harvest season. Besides tasting fine wines, you can enjoy a flea & craft market with more than 100 stands. There will also be an exhibition of historic tractors.

Distillery Day (D’Miselerland Brennt)
For the past 11 years, the Distillers from the Moselle region welcome all brandy and chocolate connoisseurs for a day of gourmet truffles and drinks! Marvel during the live distillation and augment your appreciation for the craft.

This year marks the 15th-anniversary edition of CinEast and has a packed programme with 120 screenings, 6 concerts, 30 guests and 4 debates. This year’s festival also has a special Ukrainian programme (including a charity project with the aim to finance an equipped ambulance to be sent to Ukraine) and an extensive Focus on Czechia.
