Although it’s still a little chilly, we are still so excited that the terraces are open until 6pm! Here are some of our favourite picks to grab lunch with a friend or family member. We’ve also included some of our readers’ suggestions!

Pick 1- Oio

Oio, recommended by one of our readers, is a great Italian restaurant in Luxembourg City. They have an amazing patio set up with heaters and blankets!

Pick 2- Scott’s Pub

If you’re looking for a meal with a view, this is the place for you! Scott’s Pub provides with a great BBQ menu, and incredible views of the River Alzette. Enjoy a meal on one of the best terraces in Luxembourg. Scott’s is taking reservations for there brunch starting this weekend! All of this at only a five minute walk from the center of Luxembourg.

Pick 3- Um Plateau

This cozy-feeling restaurant will leave you feeling lively and fulfilled. The bar features a wide variety of fine wines. After enjoying your beverage, you can treat yourself to a meal made with only the finest produce. Sit out on the amazing terrace (one of our favourites in Lux) and enjoy a meal amongst the open air.

Pick 4- Drupi’s

Drupi’s Vioteca and Apero Bar is open and back better than ever! Stop by for some delicious wine, cheese and meat! Enjoy people watching, great company and great food at Drupi’s!

Pick 5- Rucolino

This incredible, all vegan, plant-based restaurant is in an amazing location for outdoor dining. They have so many delicious, unique pasta and pizza options and so much more!

Pick 6- Partigiano

Another great heated and covered terrace. Warm up with some warm pizza, pasta and keep the drinks coming! You wont’t even realize it’s snowing in April!

Pick 7- De Klenge Bistro

If you are inching to go out for a drink again, this is the place for you! Located in the heart of Dudelange, they serve warm and hot drinks along with brunch and other fresh and delicious food!

Pick 8- Le Bistrot

Le Bistrot has the atmosphere of a real Parisian brasserie and you can enjoy traditional French, Luxembourgish and Italian cuisine, both at lunch and at dinnertime. Take in the cozy tree lined terrace.

Pick 9- Pavillon (in Merl Park)

Cosy, casual and good for kids located in the heart of one of our favorite parks. Delighted in a cool glass of wine on the terrace while the kids go nuts in the park! They offer classic cheeseburgers, salads and enough options to satisfy even the pickiest eater.

Pick 10- The Chocolate House

This is the go-to place to take anyone visiting but you cannot deny it is perfectly located for tourist watching. All cake should be paired with a view of a grand palace and royal guard. Enjoy your meal while people watching!

Pick 11- Brasserie Guillaume

What makes Brasserie Guillaume great is surely it’s location in the city centre. Anyone walking through the Place de Guillaume will spot this Luxembourg institution by its dazzling patio filled with well turned-out locals. Eating their seafood platter under the sun cannot be beat!

Most of these restaurants require reservations as they are still taking safety precautions. There are so many others open too! Grab a close friend or family member and enjoy a night out on the town again!
