A Day in Dudelange, Itinerary

by Brynn Pierce

We are continuing to explore different cities in Luxembourg. This week we hit up Dudelange for some culture, good eats and optional adventure!

Stop 1- Eglise Saint-Martin de Dudelange

Eglise Saint-Martin de Dudelange is a beautiful church on your way through the city and definitely worth taking a walk through. You’ll be mesmerised by the magnificent art and architecture.

Address: Avenue Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, 3597 Dudelange

Stop 2- Lunch at Rucolino

Rucolino is a new vegan restaurant in Dudelange. Their food is so good, even if you aren’t vegan, and they are open for outdoor dining! All of their wines are available by the glass. We’ve tried a salad, the “chicken” wings and their artichoke focaccia; it is impossible to pick a favourite! This is a great place to take a break and have an amazing ethical meal.

Address: 15 Rue du Commerce, 3450 Dudelange

If you want to try something else for lunch we can also recommend Restaurant Sukhothai or MoiMoi for authentic Japanese (5 Rue de la Libération, 3510 Dudelange).

Stop 3- Shopping

Of course we have to add some shopping to your day. Stroll down Rue de la Libération and Am Duerf to hit some great local shops. We recommend Ouni for package free grocery shopping and Küb- concept store for some unique finds!

Stop 4- Waassertuerm + Pomhouse Museum

Waassertuerm + Pomhouse is a great, unique art museum in Dudelange. The art is housed in a restored water tower and pumping station and there is free entry!

Address: 1b, rue du Centenaire, L-3475 Dudelange
*The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

FAMILY STOP- Parc Le’h Adventure Park

Parc Le’h Adventure course is a must-try for families. There are ropes courses for every age starting at 1.5 years old. Kids and adults alike will have a great time. Afterwards you can head to the Parc L’eh Restaurant for a coffee, cocktail or some bites on the terrace. The kids have plenty of room to run around while the parents can enjoy some adult time!

*The park has been closed for renovations, but will reopen from May 15, 2021. Happy climbing!
