Calling all wine lovers!! ‘Tis the season…the wine season, that is. The latest harvest has been brought in, and November will quickly lead us into the holidays. It’s the perfect opportunity to warm up with a wine tasting. This week from Friday until Sunday, one of my favourite wineries, Domaine Mathis Bastian, will open its doors for its annual Fall Tasting and Tour Days and they are not to be missed!
You can expect to discover the 2016 vintage which offers sincere wines that combine harmony with great maturity. You will find a large variety of Anouk Bastian’s wines on offer, so it’s the perfect opportunity to discover some of her more classic traditional wines or let yourself be won over by her new “Crémant de Luxembourg –brut- Rosé”. Its delicate pink bubbles along with it’s seductive berry flavour could be the perfect equation for all the upcoming holiday celebrations.
Alongside the wine, you’ll be offered cheese from Kaempff-Kohler, gougères from confiserie Namur along with bread from Biobäcker. There will be guided tours by Mathis Bastian himself (in French).
November 10th-12th, from 2pm to 6pm.
If you’re not able to make the open days, tours and tastings are available by appointment. The estate will be specially open for Christmas shopping on December 8th, 15th and 22nd from 5pm to 9pm.
