Camera Obscura (Booking required, in Lu/De)

Visiting the exhibition “Elina Brotherus – Photographs” allows children discover the world of the famous photographer Elina Brotherus, which deals with autobiographical content, landscapes and motifs from art history. One of Elina’s characteristics is to photograph in series and often winks at other times. After the visit, the children make their own camera obscura to better understand how a camera works.

International equestrian event – “Réiser Päerdsdeeg”

This tournament that takes place every year is part of the international show jumping scene since 1992. Nowadays it attracts more than 4000 visitors. On Saturday and Sunday, besides the regular show jumping there will be plenty of activities for your little ones- check out the website for details!

Bee Trail – Kids Learn Why Bees Are Awesome

Head over with the kids to the 2.5 km bee trail that goes across the city and includes 13 informational stops. There you will discover the richness of biodiversity within the city as well as the world of bees (just a few examples of the adventures that awaits you on the tour: a hive on the roof of a building, a hotel for wild bees, and much more)! Alternatively, teach your kids about the importance of bees and the ecosystem with the BeePopulate game. With this app you can design virtual garden for bees to pollinate!

National holiday is here and the people of Luxembourg have a public holiday to celebrate the Grand Duke’s birthday. This national holiday is celebrated with lots of official events, parties and games for children and several concerts in the evening. Open Air Konstfestival
