  1. Green Exchange- Mudam Plant Swap

Art is going green for the Post-Capital: Art and the Economics of the Digital Age exhibition at Mudam. And on Wednesday nights, you can partake in the Mudam Plant Swap. The idea could not be simpler – just come to the museum with a plant or some seeds and swap these with one of the many other plants on offer.

4. Rethink Your Clothes’ Winter Upcycling Workshop

Globally, the fashion industry is one of the biggest waste producers. During this workshop, you will learn how to give new life to clothing scraps by making mittens or a bracelet.

5. Live Music at the Philharmonie

One of our favourite annual events, the Atlântico festival which celebrates the music from Portugese-speaking countries is currently on at the Philharmonie. The is plenty to choose from, but we’re excited to see Sara Tavernes who will be performing with special guest Cachupa Psicadélica as a part of this festival.

You can also see blues and funk-inspired guitar and bass performers, John Scofield & Dave Holland, live for their Philharmonie debut!

6. Home & Living Expo 2021

If you missed it last week, make sure to add this one to your weekend to-do list! This annual Home and Living Expo features the latest in home decor and furniture. There will also be plenty of information available for construction and renovation projects. The expo takes place from now until Sunday, October 17th.

8. Try some Bangladeshi Cuisine!

Eat some delicious food and support a good cause! All you need to do is order at the Friendship Pop-up or via  lux-shop@friendship.ngo and the profits will be donated to support the NGO, Friendship. On the menu, there’s Chicken Korma, Vegan veggie curry, Dal (lentil soup) and mango lassi.

10. Dreams of Escape- CinEast 2021

“Dreams of Escape” reflects COVID-lockdown hopes for change and a getaway as well as looking for alternatives for our future. There are films, a photo exhibition and a debate that feature this theme. Here are some of the films featured: The Last Generation, The White Fortress, German Lessons, A New Shift, Goodbye Soviet Union and Vera.
