Patricia Kopatchinskaja & Sol Gabetta at the Philharmonie

Musical dialogues between two string instruments bridging the abyss of time: violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja and cellist Sol Gabetta take a spirited journey through three centuries of music history, highlighting intriguing cross-references: thus, Johann Sebastian Bach meets Jörg Widmann and György Ligeti.

Nuit des Châteaux

Enjoy a unique musical experience at the 2nd edition of the Nuit des chateaux! As you stroll the grounds on a free guided tour, you’ll discover musical performances from various artists of all different ages and backgrounds. Whether in the lounges or in the bedrooms, your visit will be punctuated by various pieces, some created just for this special evening. Soup, mulled wine, pies and fruit juiced will be offered at the end of the visit to warm you up!

Meet me at the Museum- visits for seniors and their families

The EME Foundation and the Villa Vauban are pleased to offer one-hour musical guided tours under the direction of Jenny Spielmann and musicians from the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
These tours are created for seniors and their families, in order to enjoy together the permanent exhibition of the museum, music and art history.

A cozy, comedy show in the cellar room of Updown Bar. Located in the historic ‘Grund’ district of Luxembourg city, enjoy an evening of drinks and laughter.

Spooky night hike on Halloween through Larochette

The animation team of Larochette youth hostel is organising a playful hike on Halloween at nightfall with pumpkin carving, Halloween lanterns and Luxembourgish legends around Larochette castle and its surroundings. Families with children are also welcome to this guided tour of about 4 km, which ends with a shared night-time snack around the campfire. Please register in advance.

Medieval Market

Want to travel back in time? Discover the first medieval market in the City of Remich. The program includes performing artists and acrobats, as well as a fire show in the evening. Traders and artisans, such as blacksmiths, turners, barbers, basket makers, pewter potters, sculptors and many others allow you to discover extinct professions of the Middle Ages.
