Transition Days Luxembourg, a nine month virtual event around sustainability, is focusing on biodiversity during the month of May. There are 2 upcoming events that will help you learn more about being sustainable! Below are the details on these exciting events!
Transition Days Luxembourg is a biannual festival that helps educate people on ways to live a more sustainable life. The first event was held in Luxembourg in 2018 hosting 50 local organizations and 1,500 participants. Thankfully, they are able to host another event this year!
On Saturday, May 8th, the CELL’s annual Bourse aux Plantes marketplace will be held at Rotondes in Luxembourg City. At this market there will be fresh produce, herbs and plants all from local farmers right here in Luxembourg! There will also be an opportunity for visitors to bring their own plants and seeds to give away or exchange with others! For more details click here.
The second event will take place on Wednesday, May 19th, the conference is called Andere Welt ist pflanzbar (Another world can be planted). This event will be online featuring filmmaker Ella von der Haide. During the event there will be clips of her film shown focusing on the idea of community gardens and there will be a discussion for participants to be more involved.
