Take Back the Night
March 21 @ 18:00 - 22:00
Take Back the Night Event is a night for the women of Luxembourg, and allies, to come together reclaiming the streets to highlight the importance of putting an end to violence against women.
In 2020, a social media post asked followers the hypothetical question of “what they would do if the world had no men for 24 hours?”. The post went viral because of the overwhelming number of responses, but the top response made by women? Being able to walk around freely at night.
Take Back the Night was created to raise awareness of the violence that women & young girls are facing in Luxembourg but also around the world. This event seeks to be a catalyst for change by spreading the word and making more people aware of gender-based violence.
We will march together, starting at ING in the Luxembourg Gare and walk up to the Glacis where we will have speeches from VDL and Femmes en DĂ©tresse as well as an afterparty with food trucks, a live DJ and a chance to make some incredible memories as everyone comes together!
For this event, we are offering several ticket options to accommodate various preferences and budgets:
- Free Ticket: This ticket includes registration to the march, allowing you to participate in this important movement. While it doesn’t include an event t-shirt or donation to Femmes en DĂ©tresse, your presence is invaluable in showing solidarity with survivors and advocating for change.
- 15 EUR Ticket: With this ticket, you not only get to join the march but also make a tangible difference by making a donation to Femmes en DĂ©tresse, additionally you’ll have access to the after-party plus an event t-shirt to commemorate your participation.
- 150 EUR Ticket (Corporate Team): Designed for corporate companies looking to make a collective impact, this ticket allows you to register a team of 6 members. Each team member receives all the benefits of the 15 EUR ticket. This option is perfect for organizations committed to supporting the cause and fostering a culture of inclusivity and empowerment.
