Here’s a full list of the businesses participating, as well as a bit of information about their products!
Äerd Lab is a 3D printing company that focuses on ceramics! 3D printing is a relatively new business, and there aren’t a lot of women who are experts at it. That’s why we love Angelika and her business so much! We hope she inspires the next generation of women interested in STEM! Äerd Lab’s designs are truly unique, mixing modern styles with classic pottery.
Want something niche, creative, and handmade? This is the place for you! Alchemilla’s got a little bit of everything, from cards to earrings to shirts. We personally love their adorable socks and t-shirts.
Amarylis of Amylili Studio is a Luxembourgish illustrator! She studied product and furniture design in London, and her specialties are drawing flowers, people, and objects, all with lots of detail! Her prints are creative and beautiful…a great way to cover the walls in any home!
Anne Faber of Anne’s Kitchen creates recipes from all sorts of cuisines, for all sorts of occasions and for all types of diets. She’s got authentic Luxembourgish dishes, meals perfect for the holiday season, quick treats to bake when you’re dying for something sweet, and everything in between! You can pick up one of her books inspired by her travels around the world or one of her Luxembourgish-shaped cookie cutters which also make great gifts!
Diamany designs purses for women who want to show off their self-confidence! The purses’ bright colors and vibrant patterns pay homage to Diamany’s late mother, who had a truly unique personality and sense of style. The purses are also designed ethically, and because many of them are limited editions, it’s highly likely that you’ll end up with something one-of-a-kind!
Siyana Founder of Before & After a professional organizing service offers handmade baskets from Bulgaria made out of newspaper. However if you get your hands on a basket you will spend way too much time trying to understand how they can possibly be made of newspaper. Each basket is unique and will not only help make your house beautiful but will also serve as a conversation piece!
Dominika loves to take photos and create paintings that tell a story. She’s got a real eye for detail and loves using her work to find passion and positivity. Stop by and check out some of Dominika’s art and photography to see if you can find the story in it as well.
Inspired by all things Bali, founders Alex and Kat Henderson wanted to find some way to bring a bit of a beach flare to Luxembourg! Their specialty is furniture and hardware that’ll leave you dying to plan your next vacation to Bali. Alex and Kat work carefully with local artists to create pieces that combine bohemia with sophistication. As an added bonus, shipping within Luxembourg is completely free!
Katrin is an Estonian jeweler who mixes traditional aspects with contemporary styles. She particularly likes the romantic era, and many of her pieces incorporate both beauty and the darkness that can come with it. Most of her jewelry starts out as drawings. Because every piece is handmade, you’re sure to get something very unique and special!
Okay, we had to get a bit of self-promo in there. LUX WMN is our sister brand and magazine designed to empower, connect and inspire the women of Luxembourg! You’ll be able to grab a copy of our Issue #3- hot off the presses next week, and we couldn’t be more excited! In the meantime, you can find our tote bags, Issues #1-2 and ethically made T-shirts at the pop-up!
Studio Blomst holds a special place in our heart as we work with this all female team to design our print magazines for CSL and LUX WMN. Another relatively new, woman-founded business, Studio Blomst specializes in illustration and print and web design. Their goal is to create a visual identity for their clients, and they also produce some truly beautiful work as well! You can pick up their super cool postcards and prints at our shop!
The Ome Store was founded by Salma, an incredible woman who quit her job, moved to Italy and eventually started her own candle-making journey. (Doesn’t that sound like a dream?). Salma officially launched The Ome Store in Luxembourg this year. At the Pop-Up you’ll be able to find her candles that come in all sorts of gorgeous colors and designs! All the candles are hand-poured and made without additives—it’s all natural wax!
Our last business featured at the pop-up is Volio, which will give you a little taste of Italy without having to leave Luxembourg! They’re a family-owned company that produces organic olive oil. Trust us, you can taste the difference! They’ve also got some oil that’s flavored with lemon and chili, for a bit of a surprise!
Stop by Pop-Up Esch over these next two weeks to shop local and support all of these amazing female entrepreneurs!
