Your go-to cocktail on the menu?

Barman Davide mixes some awesome cocktails but his Mojito Mule is a classic and a favourite of many!

What’s your must-try dish?

Henni’s favourite is the “De Lëtzebuerger” Burger – one of my all-time favourite burgers with cheese, bacon, egg, Berdorfer cheese and loads of pickles! Chris’s is “Wäinzoossiss” – a Luxembourg classic, consisting of sausages with mustard sauce and mashed potatoes.

The restaurant is located in Wormeldange, a 20-minute drive from Luxembourg city with lots of parking spots out back!

What’s the atmosphere like?

Cosy & homey, but also super modern.

How is the service?

Laid-back and friendly service provided by a young team that goes the extra mile to make the customer feel right at home!

What makes it a perfect spot for a Sunday? 

Sundays are usually reserved for family and friends and Koeppchen is the perfect restaurant to take your extended family or circle of friends to. The menu is a great mix of traditional, homey Luxembourgish cuisine with some modern dishes as well as a large variety of creative and tasty veggie and vegan options. If you have a group of people with lots of different dietary requirements or habits, at Koeppchen everybody will be able to find something they enjoy. Many of their ingredients are sourced from regional producers and their extensive wine list showcases a number of local wine makers. Located right at the vineyards of the Moselle in Wormeldange, it is the perfect place to enjoy some Luxembourgish wine. Either outside on their large outdoor terrace while enjoying the view, or inside next to the cosy fireplace. Take your family and friends for a stroll alongside the Moselle or for a hike through the vineyards and conclude your trip in good company with some great food at Koeppchen – perfect Sunday!
