1. Bridget Jones’s Diary

We think this movie is one of the best Christmas romantic comedies out there. Who doesn’t love Bridget Jones, single in her 30s, working for a publishing company and constantly fantasising about her boss?! Bridget Jones’s hilarious happening along with the love triangle between Bridget, her boss Daniel, and her childhood friend Mark create the perfect recipe for a modern romantic fairy-tale in a sarcastic coat.

2. A Christmas Story

A classic Christmas story set in the 1940s narrated by the adult Ralphie reminiscing on one particular Christmas when he was nine years old. This movie is weird in the best way, and we don’t let a holiday season come and go without watching it at least once.

Ralphie has just one Christmas wish: a Red Ryder BB gun from Santa. But his idea is rejected by his mom, teacher and even the department store Santa Claus who are sure he’ll shoot his eye out. Seriously, if you haven’t seen it, get watching and if you have, you probably don’t need convincing!
