Facelift for a Classic: How City Concorde will soon host a whole new Universe of Style

City Concorde

It has not necessarily been the most extravagant shopping mall you have ever seen in your life, but this will change very soon. The City Concorde Lifestyle Center in Bertrange will shine in a new light from 15 November on and truly glam up the city’s shopping, bar and wellbeing scene with some jewels.

After some additions during the past few years and of course thanks to Bram the mall has increased its image step by step, but there will be many new drivers who will lift it to another level. After two years of rebuilding and renovating a 50 Million Euro Project will soon be inaugurated: 20 new shops on three floors, a sky bar and restaurant with a 180m2 (!) terrace, that will also be open at night, the CK Fitness Center moving from the Thermes de Bertrange to City Concorde, a Beauty Center with Spa (Françoise) and new parking spaces shall attract and excite more people from November on. Director Robert Dhainaut plans to draw younger people’s and expat’s attention, while at the same time keeping the existing, loyal clientele happy too.

Presentation is Key

A core element of the new City Concorde will be Vitrin, a 400m2 space full of Scandi style. Run by Carolyn Gobran and Thomas Decker, owner of Honey Mustard, this premium part of the center will host upscale fashion and interior brands as well as a café furnished and flavoured with taste. In the center of Vitrin is a second Honey Mustard – in addition to the one in the center – the beloved Scandinavian brands for Ladies and Gents that its customers know are sold. Shop-in-shops of labels such as Filippa K, Tiger of Sweden and Vagabond besides the Kids Fashion Store DeeDee will circle around it and widen the regular offer.

To upgrade also Luxembourg’s homes the interior experts Reed & Simon will be present with a new point of sale. Design pieces by Vitra, USM, Hay and other iconic brands extend the Nordic experience. And yes, there are quality brands that might require your investment, but unlike the ones from Ikea these will last for a lifetime. The new café of Vitrin, Fika, will for sure feed your appetite not only for all homemade snacks and premium tea but also for new furniture since it will be equipped with the design furniture pieces available „next door“ too. It seems as if every detail counts here and we heard that even the staff who will serve customers at Vitrin has been carefully selected and trained, so that also the service standard should reach a new level here.

So not only women can be excited for the grand opening on 15 November 2018 and the following days with specials and some parties going on too. It’s a place for the entire family and even a place to celebrate the night.
