This year, Bernard-Massard is celebrating its 100th year anniversary!
The winery was founded in 1921 by Jean Bernard and is named after both his surname and his wife’s, Anne Massard. Bernard perfected the Champagne method of producing wines and soon expanded his business into nearby Belgium. Throughout the rest of the century, Bernard-Massard continued to expand and evolve into the global business it is today. The winery has a truly fascinating history that you can read more about here!
In celebration of 100 years of producing delicious wines and grape juices, Bernard-Massard is launching the Cuvée 1921 – Crémant de Luxembourg. This wine is made from several different grapes and is a mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris. The design on the label, which was created by Luxembourgish artist Anne Mélan, was inspired by Bernard-Massard’s history.
