LUX Snacks- Food Trucks Edition

While there are a variety of cultures and different types of food in Luxembourg, the food native to this country is a must try! Expats and visitors to Luxembourg have to be sure to try some traditional Luxembourgish cuisine. Here are our top picks for Luxembourgish restaurants! All open for takeout of course…With restaurants closed we are all desperate to have a taste of Luxembourg again. Food trucks are a great and safe way to support locals and have a delicious meal out. We have found so many different options all around town. Here are our favorite picks!

Pick 1- Scott’s Pub

One of our go-to’s, Scott’s Pub is doing brunch food trucks on Saturdays and Sundays. From 12pm-6pm you can get an amazing 2 person brunch for 40 Euros. The menu changes every weekend, so you can always go back for more. Each brunch includes something for everyone and sometimes even a cocktail! Get to the ‘Grund’ on Scott’s terrace early before they are sold out!

Pick 2- So Food

So Food has fresh and creative burgers in their food trucks all over Luxembourg, they even have vegetarian options. Their vegetables are local and their burgers are 100% homemade. Check out their trucks in Leudelange, Senningerberg. and Luxembourg Cloche d’Or, Tuesdays through Fridays from 11:30am-2pm. Check out their website to find the location closest to you and get the full menu.

Pick 3- Green Mango

Green Mango is a Thai food truck with starters, main and vegan options! They have weekly spots Monday through Thursdays from 11:30am-2pm and 6pm-9pm and Fridays from 11:30am-2pm. The truck moves around to 9 different locations, find one close to you or explore a new area in Lux (we all need a change of scenery)!

Pick 4- T-Wraps

This truck has amazing vegan wraps! Their truck can be found at Mondercange, Bertrange, Reckange-sur-mess, Leudelange, Bettembourg, Limpertsberg and Kirchberg Tuesdays to Fridays from 11:30am-2pm and 5:45pm-8:30pm. Their website posts their schedule for the week and the menu. Their menu is clearly marked for all allergies with many organic and fair-trade ingredients.

Pick 5- Taco Shop

Who doesn’t love ethnic Mexican tacos? Taco Shop has something for meat lovers and those who are vegetarian or vegan. Located in Sandweiler, outside Top Squash, this truck is open on Friday and Saturday from 4:30pm-9pm. Order online or in person, you’ll leave stuffed either way!

Pick 6- Las Maracas

Las Maracas has authentic Mexican food with an extensive menu labeled for dietary restrictions! Their truck has three different locations on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11:30am to 2pm. Pick 7- Tapor Food Concept

We had two suggestions from @fran.sas and @savonnerie_du_colibri on Instagram for this Ethiopian food truck. Tapor Food Concept is based in Luxembourg City, Monday, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in Kirchberg and Tuesdays in Cloche D’or from 11:30am-2:30pm. Be sure to check them out!

Pick 8- Letzeburger

Thanks to @midwinding on Instagram for showing us Letzeburger! They have 7 different locations and at least one of them is open any day of the week. These burgers look fantastic, come at great prices and of course there are veggie options!

Pick 9- Le Delizie di Mario

Thank you to our reader, Andr Agiu on Facebook, for suggesting Le Delizie di Mario. We are told they have fantastic Arepas. The truck moves to different locations Mondays through Fridays, check the link for their Facebook for more details on times, location and menu! Their ingredients look so fresh and delicious, we can’t wait to try this one out ourselves!
