8 July 2024 Commemoration Ceremony
This year’s ceremony will be the 8th one organized by Luxembourg Pride and is aimed at honoring those who have fought for LGBTQ+ rights in the past and appreciating the contribution they have made towards the levels of equality we have today – something they were not as fortunate to experience back then.
Saturday 13 July 2024 12:30 Equality March & Street Fest
About the march
The festival is a central element of Pride and will kick off at 12:30 with the traditional Pride Equality March through the streets of Esch-sur-Alzette.
Participants will don colorful outfits, wave rainbow flags, and march in solidarity to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ issues and celebrate the progress made towards equality. The march not only serves as a vibrant demonstration of support but is also political and serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
All who believe in rejecting hate and ignorance and want to demonstrate their solidarity with the community – join in! And remember, the more colorful, the better!
Group attendance for the march
If you will attend in a foot group/s, floats from associations, parties, businesses, companies or institutions, you need to register in advance here.
Individuals and friends attendance
Individuals of smaller groups and friends don’t have to register and spontaneous participation is definitely encouraged!
