Clervaux Castle

Clervaux Castle is located in the city of Clervaux in the northern region of Luxembourg. It dates back to the 12th-century, but was destroyed during the Battle of the Bulge in the second World War. After its destruction, the government of Luxembourg restored the castle to its beautiful state. The castle houses various institutions, including several museums! Chateau Urspelt

This 16th century castle is located in the northern region of Luxembourg in the village of Urspelt. This majestic castle has been restored to its original charm after being destroyed repeatedly over time. The latest renovation began in 2005, and today functions as a hotel and a venue. Brandenbourg Castle

Dating back to the 10th century, these castle ruins are located in Northern Luxembourg in the city of Brandenbourg. In its early years, the castle was home to the Brandenbourg family, a powerful nobility in Luxembourg at the time. After experiencing gradual wear and tear, the castle underwent a restoration to restore the whole castle. Visitors can be guided through the entire castle, tunnel system, chapel, spires, and cellars. Ansembourg Castle

Ansembourg Castle was built in the 12th century and is located in the village of Ansembourg in central Luxembourg. In the 18th century, the castle and gardens underwent significant changes. Now, the public can visit these charming gardens which include statues and decorative fountains. Beaufort Castles

Located in the countryside of Beaufort, you can visit two historic castles! The medieval castle was built between 1050 and 1650, these impressive ruins are now open to the public. Just around the corner, you’ll find the renaissance castle from the 17th century. The only way you can tour the two castles is with a guide, but the experience ends with an opportunity to taste the chateau’s famous Cassero liqueur! Wiltz Castle

The historic castle of Wiltz is located in northern Luxembourg in the city of Wiltz. The original function was to protect the town from enemies, but later became the residence for the lords of Wiltz. Today, the castle houses the National Beer Museum and Museum of the Battle of the Bulge. The castle is open every year for the Wiltz Festival, but you can also take a tour year round. Larochette Castle

If you are interested in exploring old dungeons, servant quarters, and dining halls, Larochette Castle is the perfect historic site for you. Located in central Luxembourg in the town of Larochette, this 11th century castle and its remains are open to the public. The original castle was destroyed by fire, reducing the castle to ruins. Vianden Castle

Regardless of the day, Luxembourg’s Vianden Castle is a wonderful local escape that should be taken advantage of. Built between the 11th and 14th centuries, this fairytale castle is located in the town of Vianden. Described by CNN as one of the 21 most beautiful castles in the world, Vianden Castle offers tourists and locals picturesque views. Hollenfels Castle

Located in Hollenfels overlooking the Eisch Valley, this historic castle forms part of the “Valley of the Seven Castles.” This castle can only be reached via a brick bridge leading over the defensive wall! Bourglinster Castle

Bourglinster Castle is located in the village of Bourglinster in central Luxembourg was built in the 11th century. Over the years multiple additions were added to this historic castle making it the beautiful castle we see today. Bourscheid Castle

This castle is estimated to have been built during the 10th-century, and it was later enlarged during the 14th and 15th-centuries. Today, its ruins are located in northern Luxembourg in the town of Bourscheid and the property offers beautiful views of the countryside.
