I’m Amélie, 31 years old. I’m Luxembourgish with Belgian roots and I was raised in the countryside in the Western part of the country. After having lived in Paris for a few years, I came back here around 5 years ago. I’m very attached to my country and always happy to share my favorite places or things to do here.
I work in communications and I’m passionate about fashion, vintage, “art de la table” , the Italian culture and cuisine and also art. I love to discover new brands or creators and to share it with my followers. So don’t hesitate to follow me and my adventures on Instagram ! Wishing you a pleasant visit on my page: @seenbyamelie
Early riser or mid-morning lie-in? I’m an early bird! Days are too short to not enjoy waking up early 🙂
Sunday morning routine? I’m a huuuge breakfast lover and a good Sunday always has to start with a delicious breakfast. Depending on my mood I will have either homemade pancakes, a smoothie bowl, yoghurt with granola or maybe.. a croissant! I also love to bake, so from time to time you’ll find a lemon cake on my breakfast table.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Luxembourg on a Sunday? I love to walk or run along the Pétrusse or through the old city, observing the tourists admiring my beautiful city always makes me happy! I also love to go to Bloom on Sundays and enjoy my favorite banana bread in town (ask for the grilled one with melted butter on it..hmmm)

What do you like to cook? I have to admit something, I’m a terrible cook… except for sweet things! My spécialité is the “Pavlova” a delicious dessert I love to prepare for my friends.
If you’re dining out on a Sunday, where are you going? Definitely Oio in Clausen! They have a very cute terrass, perfect for a Sunday lunch. You have to try the Tortelli with ossobuco.. mamma mia!
Your favourite Sunday outdoor activity in Luxembourg? The flea market on the Glacis! As a vintage lover, the flea market taking place every first Sunday of the month from April to October is a must for all vintage lovers like me. If you love Villeroy & Boch as much as I do, you’ll find beautiful treasures. Oh and by the way, it’s on today until 17h 😉
Any Sunday traditions? On Sunday evening it’s me time, which means I will take care of my skin and just enjoy the end of the weekend in a relaxing way. The best way to start a new week with positive energies!
