Pick 1- Oio

What can we say? We LOVE Oio! They have an amazing patio set up (with heaters and blankets when the evening gets chilly)! As the weather gets warmer the trees surrounding the patio will become bright green and it turns into a beautiful spring spot! Come here for delicious Italian cuisine, some of the best staff in Lux and a calm atmosphere. Bonus, you have to try the Cheese Ferrari driven by Madame Fromage (follow her on instagram for all things cheese).

Pick 2- Scott’s Pub

If you’re looking for a meal with a view, this is the place for you! Scott’s Pub provides with a great BBQ menu, and incredible views of the River Alzette. Enjoy a meal on one of the best terraces in Luxembourg. Scott’s is open on bank holidays too! All of this at only a five minute walk from the center of Luxembourg.

Pick 3- Um Plateau

This cozy-feeling restaurant will leave you feeling lively and fulfilled. The bar features a wide variety of fine wines and a massive menu of G&Ts. After enjoying your beverage, you can treat yourself to a meal made with only the finest produce. Sit out on the amazing terrace (one of our favourites in Lux) and enjoy a meal amongst the open air.

Pick 4- Drupi’s

Pick 5- Rucolino

This incredible, all vegan, plant-based restaurant is one of our top picks for dining out in Lux. They have so many delicious, unique pasta, pizza and salad options among so much more! This is the perfect spot to relax under an umbrella, sip a glass of wine and munch on tasty food.

Pick 6- Partigiano

Whether eating inside or outside, dining at Partigano is always an experience! This is another great heated and covered terrace. Warm up with some warm pizza, pasta and keep the drinks coming! You won’t even realize if it’s snowing in April!

Pick 7- Le Bistrot

Le Bistrot has the atmosphere of a real Parisian brasserie and you can enjoy traditional French, Luxembourgish and Italian cuisine, both at lunch and at dinnertime. Take in the cozy tree lined terrace.

Pick 8- Pavillon (in Merl Park)

Cosy, casual and good for kids located in the heart of one of our favorite parks. Delighted in a cool glass of wine on the terrace while the kids go nuts in the park! They offer classic cheeseburgers, salads and enough options to satisfy even the pickiest eater.

Pick 9- The Chocolate House

This is the go-to place to take anyone visiting but you cannot deny it is perfectly located for tourist watching. All cake should be paired with a view of a grand palace and royal guard. Enjoy your meal while people watching!

What makes Brasserie Guillaume great is surely it’s location in the city centre. Anyone walking through the Place de Guillaume will spot this Luxembourg institution by its dazzling patio filled with well turned-out locals. Eating their seafood platter under the sun cannot be beat!
