Women Power Fest 2024

LUX WMN is a proud partner of the Women Power Fest that will be held on the 8 of March 2024, to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) at the Meliá in Kirchberg, Luxembourg. 

Whether it’s daily life or professional pursuits, the Women Power Fest promises to foster unity and empowerment as the public gathers for entertainment and shared stories to support women and inspire inclusion. 

This collaborative event is hosted by leading women empowerment organizations in Luxembourg, and they’re committed to uniting attendees to promote the women leading their lives in the community. 

IWD is a global day celebrating women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. The day marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality, and millions of people worldwide have supported IWD for over a century. The IWD 2024 campaign theme, ‘Inspire Inclusion,’ celebrates diversity and empowerment, and is a way to forge a stronger world by helping others understand and value women’s inclusion — on IWD and beyond. 

What does the inclusion of women look like? In the community, work, home, and beyond, women are openly embraced no matter their diversity of race, age, ability, faith, body image, or how they identify. All individuals can play a part by committing to acting on injustices or inequality. 

When women aren’t present in a field, ask: “Why not?” 

When women are discriminated against, call out the poor practices.

Change isn’t made overnight, but seeking out the inclusion of women and girls can occur at any time. As a part of LUX WMN’s mission is to empower women and provide a safe place for female voices, LUX WMN helps #InspireInclusion by:

• Helping women and girls make informed decisions about their health
• Elevating women’s and girl’s participation and achievement in sport
• Promoting the creative and artistic talent of women and girls
• Cultivating a community for women to power, inspire, and thrive through LUX WMN content

As members of the female empowerment community, sharing learned knowledge and supporting and encouraging others is key. Join LUX WMN in attending Women Power Fest this year to commemorate the IWD and the progress that’s been made toward gender equality, while recognizing the work that still needs to be done.
