25. April 2022 @ 19:30 - 21:30

Born in Pétange in 1979, I grew up in Oberkorn (commune of Differdange). After spending my high school in Esch (LHCE), I did Modern Letters first at the University Center in Luxembourg (CUNLUX) and then at the University of Paris IV – Sorbonne with a master’s degree.
Then, I was able to complete a second university course lasting five years in Rome, devoting myself to the study of philosophy and theology at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana. In 2009, I was ordained a priest in the diocese of Luxembourg. Currently, I teach French at the LTL in Esch. As I am passionate about literature, reading and writing are a real pleasure for me. The word, the sentence, the speech, the narration, the fable, all this verbal universe fascinates me. The book of which I think you will discover some texts is significant. It is the Sarantameron, the title translating the idea of forty days and alluding to Boccaccio’s Decameron. We find there an encyclopedic desire and no doubt the need, in an overview becoming increasingly vast, to reconcile scattering and concentration in poetic creation. In my introduction, I talk about a “festival of words, ideas, colors…”. I invite you there for a Literary Monday!
